ORNAMENT: two point five directions

  1. Very cool texture and play with endmill diameter. The piece is beginning to speak about lineweight and pattern in a great way. You also captured a nice fuzziness in the foam, which then nicely translated the plaster. What speed did you run at?

  2. Spindle: 116
    Cutspeed: 240
    Feedrate: 120

If I were to mill the mold again I would reduce the cutspeed and feedrate in half in order to make the surface of the bluefoam smoother. As it was, the fuzziness on the foam translated into a texturized plaster but it made it really difficult to remove from the mold. It was like a velcro seal.
